With extensive training and experience in canine nutrition, I adhere to the highest standards, including the NRC guidelines, to formulate both raw and cooked recipes. My goal is to create meal plans tailored to each dog's unique needs, considering factors like their lifestyle, characteristics, and medical history. I believe that every dog deserves a diet that is as special and individualized as they are. I am always striving to educate myself on updated nutrition information, but some situations are just not within my scope of practice, if I am presented with a specific case that is not yet within my means, I am happy to refer you to someone that I know will be able to help you. I am currently formulating for healthy adult dogs, but I am planning on delving into therapeutic diet consults in the future.
I’ve taken extensive Anatomy and Physiology during my Vet technology AS degree and have taken numerous continued education classes based on nutrition during my career. I’ve additionally taken the Canine Nutrition program at the Companion Animal Sciences Institute and have enrolled myself in the Academy of Companion Animal Institute for the Professional Canine Formulation class. I strive to keep learning about Canine Nutrition EVERY DAY and will continue my education with every single opportunity that I can find so that I can help to educate my clients with the most updated and trusted information related to canine nutrition.
Initial Nutrition Consult

An initial nutritional consultation is a wonderful opportunity for me to get to know both you and your dog, address any questions you may have, and discuss any nutritional topics on your mind. This will allow me the chance to understand your dog's unique needs thoroughly.
Together we will determine the best diet tailored to your dog's specific requirements. Our discussion can range from basic nutrition topics to specialized areas such as weight management, prescription diets, and more. Prior to our consultation, I will have you complete a form to ensure we make the most of our time together.
Recipe Analysis
$45 per recipe
A recipe analysis involves a comprehensive evaluation of the current homemade diet you are providing for your dog. I will ask you to complete an analysis form that provides insights into your lifestyle, as well as your dog's unique qualities, characteristics, lifestyle, and medical history.
I will meticulously examine each ingredient to ensure it meets your dog's specific macro/micronutrient, caloric, vitamin, and mineral requirements. Additionally, I will assess whether the diet fulfills essential needs such as fatty acids, fiber intake, and antioxidant requirements, and check for the presence of any anti-nutrients.
The analysis will include a detailed breakdown of each nutrient, vitamin, mineral, and calorie intake, highlighting areas where the recipe may need significant or minor adjustments. Every recipe analysis will be accompanied by a guaranteed analysis report.
Recipe Formulation
$100+
Creating a balanced homemade recipe (either raw or cooked) that aligns with NRC standards and requirements is my specialty. By filling out a detailed formulation form, you'll provide me with all the essential information about your lifestyle and your dog's unique characteristics, lifestyle, and medical history. This personalized approach ensures that the recipe we create is not only complete and balanced for your healthy adult or senior canine, but it also comes with a guaranteed analysis report.
To maintain the nutritional balance of the recipe, you will need to purchase additional supplements. Don’t worry, I will guide you precisely on which supplements to buy and the exact amounts to add on a daily or weekly basis.
